Summary:
Pancreatic cancer is extremely lethal (survival rate < 8%) due to a dense stromal barrier that causes high drug resistance. The main objective of the PANACEA-AI project is to establish a sustainable framework for precision oncology. The project integrates patient-derived organoids, nanomechanical profiling, and advanced high-resolution and high-throughput imaging within a secure, GDPR-compliant platform for predicting individual therapy response. Two innovative products are expected: (1) a predictive AI clinical decision support system, and (2) a standardized TME-PDO profiling platform. Target groups include PDAC patients, clinicians, researchers, and industry partners.
